On this site I will share my personal Genealogical
findings with the hope that I might link family members whose Surnames are DeBerry (South Carolina, Arkansas, & Mississippi),
Griffin (Louisiana), Merriwether(Kentucky&Arkansas), Lovey Taylor(Grandmother-Mississippi), White, and Wood
(Louisiana). Although my family tree expands far beyond the names mentioned above, I am attempting to link my existing
family members here in California with existing family throughout the USA and the world. My genealogy research
started years ago collecting a little bit of information concerning family member here and a little there. Presently
much of my time is devoted to Family research and photo history. My whole family is excited about my research,
and they appreciate the historical and documented information that I shared with them concerning our ancestors.
Recently I joined The African American Genealogical Society here in Northern California, my hope is to network and learn
from these experienced researches. I have found that the members of this society are very dedicated to their research,
and if you are ready to jump into this form of research they are here for you. I am thankful for all the help that I
have received thus far from mentors Mrs. Price, Mrs. Ashley, Mrs. Stevenson, and Mrs.Antoine.
